Mauro

Some things about me:

Currently pursuing my Master's in Business Law at Aalborg University, but living in Copenhagen :)
Independent demographic analyst with a particular interest in fertility, migration, and long-term population trends. I make my own maps and graphs using R and QGIS. You can find some of them on my website.
My interests range across technology, politics, demography, law, genetics, anthropology, finance, history, languages, religion, investing, philosophy and much more!
Super active on Twitter! I won't leak my anonymous account, but I have gotten 35 million impressions in the last year!

Some goals of mine - maybe you can help me achieve any of these?

Build a unicorn software company
Move to the US / East Asia (Bay Area/NYC/Miami or Tokyo preferably)
Master Spanish and an additional language. Most likely Japanese or Arabic. I currently speak ~ 25-35 words in both of the two. (5-6 languages total)
Write books on topics like geopolitics, tech, history, fertility, culture, business and future forecasting (Releasing my first book in 2026!).
Work in foreign policy (Henry Kissinger is a huge inspiration of mine).

some recent projects:

birthrate.io - The Wikipedia for everything related to birth rates, demographics and population data.

dropped projects:

Historia with Johan - An iOS platform for interactive history learning. Very proud and happy of the progress I made, but I have decided to close it down due to limited time and budget for marketing!
runekjaer.dk - Law students offering legal advice for elders + low income families. Something I ran during my bachelors.
citydex.app - I got motivated after the acquisition of Catchr to build my own spin on it with users collecting IRL monuments by taking selfies infront of them. Users can upvote and downvote best selfies infront of historical monuments.
